This is a compelling one-shot. When I saw the title on the cover, I was curious how it related to the story. After reading the final few pages, it all made sense. This gave me serious The Walking Dead vibes, which isn’t a bad thing. I can’t imagine living my life as the main character, Red. He’s a rugged man to say the least, who wants to be left alone. I can relate to that.

The art style is abstract with dark, earthy colors. Negative space is used to convey the solitude and desolation of the world. I really hate this is a one-shot because I grew attached to Red, Princess, and Queen. Seriously guys, you can’t tease readers like this. If you need to make another Kickstarter, get it up and running. Feed me more of this interpersonal storytelling in a dystopian world filled with zombies.
