What a mind fuck! They didn’t have to do my girl Princess (Juanita Sanchez) like that. I had no idea her mental illness and trauma was so severe. Splinter is a great character study that viewers never got to see before the pandemic. The way she was written into the main cast was weird and disjointed. Anyways, she here now. I hope she manages to stay alive.

This episode is like a one-person stage play. Princess shows her range of emotions and overcame many obstacles, albeit internal. Things were happening onscreen that didn’t quite make sense, which made the reveal more effective. I can’t recall the last time I saw psychological storytelling like this. All I know is those Bootleg Storm Troopers are trifling muthafuckas yo.

I was frustrated by how many times Princess escaped her train car. She was doing more than tempting fate, she was slapping it in the face. Not sure what game the Bootleg Storm Troopers were playing at, but I’m sure they can’t be trusted. Their methods are a little too Imperial for me. The other communities had a screening process, but they were on some reverse psychology shit. Overall, it was a satisfying view worth a 7 out of 10.
