My dream has come true! All of my favorite DC Comic heroes have finally come together. Justice League is a lot of fun. This movie was full of action and played beat to beat like an actual comic book. There are plot holes and unfinished visual effects. Yet I still managed to be thoroughly entertained by seeing all the heroes interact. The cast is an amazing ensemble.
All of them deliver great solo performances. Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), and Ray Fisher (Cyborg). I was surprised with the balance of screen time. Visually Justice League was bright, stylistic, and less gritty than previous films. At times the tone was off-balance.
Characters would exchange witty dialogue and then the next thing you know people are dying left and right. The pace was so quick that I didn’t have time to process it all. Steppenwolf is the villain of the movie. His origin is not explained and his motives are generic. Still this guy is no joke! When he is on-screen, things get real. He is a force to be reckoned with.
Wonder Woman is a total boss. Batman will have fans gushing. Cyborg is like a contemporary Frankenstein and integral to the story. The Flash stole the show and is great comic relief. Aquaman is awesome in every way. The rest you’ll have to see for yourself. Overall, I was impressed by what Justice League was able to accomplish. It got me excited to see more from DC & Warner Bros. I give it a 6.5 out of 10.
