This is not at all what I expected as a follow-up to the first issue of Blowtorch. It’s like a mixture of John Wick and Crank. Richard Kinkaid and his two allies, Infrared and Pinpoint, were sent to apprehend an exceptionally dangerous criminal, The Middleman. This entry is very violent, with disturbing kills, and I’m here for it all. The world building is nothing short of spectacular.

The panels are up-close and personal. Each frame is intimate. You feel the tension between all the characters. What I like most, is that the story is told from the perspective of the antagonists. I was invested the whole time. Like a good home cooked meal, this one will leave you wanting more. As the front cover implies, there’s a standoff and I have no idea how it is going to end…. or who. Blowtorch is an action-packed pool of chaos. If you want to order it, click here.
